Lime Crime CEO Becomes Leader In Top Female Entrepreneurs

Lime Crime might be a bit bizarre for the name of a major makeup company, but when you think about it, it’s actually quite brilliant. The brand name is very “Google-able.”

Founder and CEO Doe Deere wouldn’t have it any other way, and besides, her real Russian name is a lot longer. Lime Crime and Doe Deere go together quite nicely, sky-rocketing their way to the top. At the moment, the brand’s Instagram account shows more than 2.5 million followers. Having a presence on social media is a big deal for thriving e-commerce sites, and fans around the globe adore wearing the funky color palettes from the unique cosmetics company.

Doe Deere is a hardworking businesswoman, according to an article in GaloreMag. The young woman with the candy-colored tresses and vivid fashion and makeup has finally been accepted by the so-called mainstream culture.

Doe Deere now ranks highly alongside other famous business ladies like Arianna Huffington and Suze Orman. All three were on the cover of Self-Made magazine, after being named to the mag’s Top Inspiring Female Entrepreneurs list.

That was a huge accomplishment for Doe Deere, who established Lime Crime makeup in 2008. It’s been a slow but steady rise and has since exploded on social media sites, where Doe Deere believes the shopping future lies. She always adored playing with colors as a young child growing up in Russia and liked experimenting with bold makeup colors. She liked fantastical creatures like the elusive unicorn, and when she moved to the United States, she brought her wild imagination and creative artistry with her.

Doe Deere had trouble finding vivid makeup, even in the gigantic New York City metropolis. So, she decided to create her own un-beige brand in a rainbow of hues that went far beyond the normal makeup color spectrum. In a Lime Crime world, makeup shades like Metallic Mauve, Burnished Bronze and Earthy Red were unique lipsticks to dare yourself and put on.

Doe Deere’s wild, modern makeup can be found at her shopping website and popular retailers like Urban Outfitters and DollsKill.

Queens of Drama Featuring Crystal Hunt will be Back for a Second Season

When soap opera stars hook up to make a reality show the end result is known as the Queens of Drama. This reality based television program is featured on the POP cable channel and its second season is scheduled to air sometime in April of 2016.

When the show first aired in April of 2015 it enjoyed moderate success. The program did well enough in the ratings department for the network to schedule a second season. Overall, critics and viewers enjoyed the program but the problem is that not too many people even knew that it existed.

POP is a somewhat known cable channel that appears in at least 64% of all American households with cable television. Once again, many people were not even aware of Queens of Drama during its first season. The show had about 169,000 viewers when it debuted and after 10 episodes the ratings grew to about 177,000.

Queens of Drama features a cast of former soap opera honeys that are beautiful, sexy, strong and unforgettable. First up is Donna Mills who was featured on Knots Landing and Melrose Place. Then there is Vanessa Marcil from Las Vegas and General Hospital. Chrystee Pharris played on Passions and General Hospital as well. The alluring Hunter Tylo did her thing on the Bold and the Beautiful and Lindsay Hartley is also featured on the show. She was employed on the soap operas All my Children and Days of our Lives.

Crystal Hunt is also in Queens of Drama. This dynamic woman played the role of Lizzie Spaulding on the Guiding Light and as Stacy Morasco on One Life to Live. Crystal Hunt had been acting on the soaps from the early to late 2000’s before she transitioned over to movie roles. She has appeared in films such as Magic Mike XXL and Talbot County.

Hunt is starting to move toward the role of producer and director. In the film Talbot County she had teamed up with an industry colleague and friend named Dania Ramirez to produce and to direct. Hunt still continues to work in Hollywood and is still an actress first and foremost. She is now heading back to Queens of Drama for a second season and she is preparing to venture out into more projects in the future.  Check out what Crystal Hunt has done in her acting career on YouTube.
