Dr. Mark Holterman Helps medical Science in a Different Way

Dr. Mark Holterman is a man with a sparkling educational and professional background. A graduate of Yale University, Dr. Holterman has established himself as a focused pediatrician and business person. His business outlook may be contributing to his effective ways of carrying out his duties as a physician. Dr. Holterman has served in various senior positions in the medical field. Dr. Holterman finished his pediatric surgery fellowship studies at the Seattle Children’s Hospital. He once served as the Director of Surgery at the University of Washington.


Dr. Holterman’s Inclination to Help Children

Apart from his medical practice in pediatrics and research, Dr. Holterman has initiated projects to exploit new medical ideas whenever they emerge. He set up the Global Health Fund for that purpose. Dr. Holterman owns and runs Mariam Global Health. The health institution is based on the premise that he has a burning desire to help patients; not just as a physician but also at the personal level. Since Dr. Holterman desired to make a difference on a larger scale, he needed to set up a project that would make it practical to help patients with medical complications through improving medical technology. Mariam Global Health is Dr. Mark Holterman’s avenue for achieving his vision. The health institution makes special use of on biotechnology to treat patients.



About Dr. Mark Holterman

Dr. Mark Holterman is an experienced pediatrician with both medical interest and business acumen. Dr. Holterman is also trained in clinical medicine and research in basic science. He is now retired. The professor of pediatric surgery served at the College of Medicine at the University of Illinois- Peoria. At the University of Washington, Dr. Mark Holterman was the Director of Surgery. Dr. Mark Holterman attended the University of Virginia and got a degree in Biology, General; a BA degree. He later got his Ph.D. in Medicine and Immunology from the same university. These are just a few of the many professional, educational and career accolades that Dr. Mark Holterman possesses.
